SIGCHI Travel Support
The SIGCHI Development Fund has awarded the ACM COMPASS conference a grant titled “Increasing participation of scholars from the global south in ACM COMPASS – Computing and Sustainable Societies 2022.” The funding will be used to support travel grants (e.g., airfare, lodging) to increase the participation of underrepresented scholars from Economically Developing Countries (EDC). The SIGCHI Development Fund’s support aim is to increase the participation of under-represented researchers who would otherwise not be able to attend, including junior faculty, graduate students, and other scholars. Please use the COMPASS common scholarship form to apply for COMPASS travel and registration support. You MUST be a member of SIGCHI to receive SIGCHI Travel Support.

Meta corporation, a Gold Sponsor of COMPASS 2022, is providing two travel grants for scholars who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference, particularly graduate students and scholars in Economically Developing Countries (EDC).
